CLARENCE WINTERS

September 17,1937 -

February 27, 2026

Dad passed away on February 27, 2026, with his family by his side.

He will be lovingly missed by his daughters, Laura (Lyle) and Debbie (Ron); grandchildren, Katryna, Drake, and Clare; cousin Dottie; and his extended family.

He was predeceased by his parents, John and Caroline; sister Geraldine; and his twin brother Ralph.

Dad was stubborn and obstinate until the end. While that's a negative to some, it became an endearing but somewhat frustrating trait to those who loved him. Above all, Dad was a family person for which we will be forever grateful. His love and guidance will lead us always.

Hearing loss was one of Dad's biggest challenges, dictating a large part of his life. Please take care of your hearing, preserve a sense that, once lost, is lost forever.

We love you Dad, may you rest in peace.

A service will take place in Elma, MB at a later date.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Lions Foundation of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario - Simply Sound program.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Sad to hear this news today. I have so many fond memories of your dad—he was such a wonderful neighbor. He always took such pride in his yard, and it showed; it was always so well cared for. Our neighborhood was special, with so many of us living there for so many years. Some of my favorite memories are of the little white poodle that would wander around the front yard. And if it ever went a bit too far, that black-and-white cat would come right away and guide it back home. Clarence just loved that little dog. Your Dad always had a little grin and was always happy to chat when he was outside.Loved visiting him. Thinking of you and your family during this time. - Posted by: Melanie Fraser (Neighbor) on: Mar 31, 2026
